The 'bark beetle' has been killing our pines, so we sold the ones that hadn't been effected yet. I know it had to be done, but I feel strange looking out the window and seeing a few trees where there used to be a forest....
Drawn with photoshop and my beloved $20 tablet, uploaded quickly so I could get back to doing my classwork :(
full view recommended.

I love this! The girl has a very "anime" feel to her. ^^

The girl looks really beautiful, and as always I love the black-and-white style.

The drawing is beautiful and melancholy, I love the glow of the moon through the branches.

I'm so sorry about your pines. :-(

I remember how sad it was whenever we had our trees cleared out for the telephone wires. Obviously it needed to be done, but it was still hard looking at all the cleared areas.
Thank you, this was a very personal piece for me, I'm really glad you like it!
It's amazing how much we get attached to things like trees- when they're gone, we really miss them.
